There are 3 ways to propagate Christmas cactus.
1. Through the cut part of the stem
3. By root division
2. Through the cut part of the leaf
First, choose healthy stems that are at least 8 to 10 cm long.
Now cut the stem at a 45-degree angle with a sharp knife or scissors.
Allow the cut to dry for a day or two until the cut edge forms a callus.
After two days, plant the cutting in well-draining soil with root hormone and water lightly.
Cover the container with a plastic bag and store it in a humid and shady place.
Every 3 to 4 days, see if the humidity of the container is maintained! If necessary, spray the container with water.
If necessary, the application of fungicide with water will provide more benefits. As a result, the fungus will not attack the plant.
After a few weeks, you will see that the roots have formed.
There are also two other ways to propagate Christmas cactus, see below.
The Christmas cactus is a beautiful, low-maintenance plant that can be propagated in three ways after winter.
