These plants do not require special food during winter, but their food demand is high from the beginning of summer as the plant starts to produce a lot of buds at this time. With proper care and maintenance, this tree produces abundant flowers till the rainy season. If you want the plant to bloom in the summer season and in the rainy season, you need to apply a small amount of fertilizer once every month.

Organic fertilizers can be used by mixing cow dung/leaf rot, eggshell, banana peel, bone meal, hemp husk, half teaspoon of mustard powder, micronutrients etc. together. If used once a month, no other fertilizers will be needed, the plant will stay healthy and fresh throughout the year, and the number of flowers will increase many times. Or when the plant grows, sprinkle 8 to 15 DAP in 8 to 10 inch tub every one month and after 15 days of application of DAP, you can add a spoonful of potash fertilizer away from the base of the tub. Any compost fertilizer can be applied to the soil after 15-20 days of application of chemical fertilizers.

To get more flowers, 250 grams of mustard seed should be soaked in 1 liter of water for 3 to 4 days. 12 to 15 grains of (DAP/TSP) fertilizer should be mixed with water 24 hours before for 10 inch to 12 inch tub. But do not use mustard seeds directly on the root of the plant in intense heat. NPK (10:26:26) can be used all year round with half a teaspoon once a month, it will also contain plant flowers and plant stems and leaves. Potassium nitrate (13:00:45) should be used with half a teaspoon once every two months, to reduce plant diseases and prevent budding. A spoonful of powdered food should be applied every one-and-a-half month. Applying fertilizers in this way ensures the supply of high-quality flowers till the rainy season.
